About Honest Phones
Honest Phones is a marketplace for phones in any condition: working, cracked, water damaged, iCloud locked or parts only. Most marketplaces treat a damaged phone as an exception. Here it’s the main thing we sell, to the repair shops, refurbishers and bargain hunters who buy them.
Every condition, described the same way
Sellers fill in the same condition fields for every phone: screen, housing, battery, locks and known faults. The grade is worked out from those answers, so it can’t be inflated. How grading works →
IMEI checked before a listing goes live
Each phone’s IMEI is checked against the blacklist before it can be published. A blacklisted phone can’t be listed.
Payment held until the buyer accepts
The buyer’s payment is held in escrow with Stripe. The seller is paid once the buyer confirms the phone matches its listing, or the inspection window closes without a dispute. Buyer & seller protection →
